Miles met his cousin Neville for the first time this past weekend. They hit it off big time, bringing constant joy and amusement to all of their traveling companions. For more pictures of these two little ones upstaging (just barely) the beautiful mountain scenery, visit my cousin (Neville's sweet mama) Kasey's blog and check out her amazing photography website while you're at it.
Our girls weekend getaway to the southwest was filled with gorgeous views, time spent relaxing on the veranda of our hacienda, and for me, precious time spent with my little guy. It was so nice being able to take a break from our crazy everyday schedule to just be, to do nothing, to be present in the moment and to let Miles set the pace. I really feel so connected and bonded with him. Recharged. It was time that will be memorable not for any specific thing that we did, but for the overall feeling that we created and experienced together with our family.

Wow. He looks so grown up. I bet it is amazing to have him walking around. Cielle has been crawling everywhere and we are waiting for those first steps!
