Papasan Sleeper

Don't be fooled by the furrowed brow! Miles loves his naps in his baby papasan. In this cozy little chair and in his swing are his two favorite places to be (only if no one is available to hold him in their arms, of course!)

The Family Photo

All grandma wanted for Christmas was a family photo. Easy, right? Not so much. After many attempts to coordinate such a feat, we finally captured the moment. After a full-out holiday dinner, complete with grill-smoked turkey and homemade apple pie, we convinced the twins to don their holiday gear and smile for the camera. By the end of the photo shoot, they had made a game out of it and wanted to keep the photos coming!
Miles fussed through the entire ordeal (note the red and scrunched up face).

Getting the twins to stand still was a challenge!

Rubber Ducky

Bath time is a happy and alert time for Mr. Miles. He loves the sound and the feel of the warm water, not to mention the "mood music" we play for him during his watery rendezvous. He's a successful graduate of the "kitchen sink" bath method and has now enrolled in the college of "big tub", where mom and son together enjoy the water and soapy bubbles. He enjoys his baths almost as much as he likes the infant massages we do together. What a life!

Grandma's Visit

After attending a mid-day holiday party, Miles spends quality time with Grandma during her visit to Minnesota over the holidays...a little bonding time, anyone?

Our Little Bug

Inspired by my cousin Kasey's commitment to blogging about her gorgeous baby Neville, I've decided to start my own blog. It's a great way to keep family updated on our new life with Miles, not to mention a nifty way to shamelessly brag about our uber-cute boy.
Arriving two weeks early, Miles blessed us with a beautiful waterbirth. Life has been chaotic, challenging, and filled with awesome (and sleep-deprived) moments ever since. To his grandmother's dismay, we have a little scorpio prince on our hands.
Happy birthday, little bug! Welcome to the world!
