Five things that are making me happy right now:
A new book :: This one comes recommended by the Latin Baby Book Club. Mama Goose is full of nursery rhymes, games, and songs in English and Spanish. I can't wait to share this with our little one.
Capturing and displaying our memories :: by framing and hanging professional photographs of our family that were taken months and months ago. Finally, they've found a home in Miles' room.
Knowing that hair grows back :: and can be cut again...this time by a professional stylist. It only took a week or two for me to realize that the hair cut I gave Miles was a disaster and that he'd need to have it trimmed up by someone who knows what they're doing. Tomorrow is the big day. Thank goodness.
Surprises in the mail :: from a great grandmother to her great grandson. A cozy, ultra-soft fleece blanket to keep him warm. And from an aunt and uncle - a sweet, plush teddy bear with which to play and dream. We love them - thank you!
Looking forward to travel plans :: for a trip to Washington D.C. We can't wait to see our family and friends again. It has been far too long.
