We celebrated a few birthdays in October. For David's birthday, we took a train ride in rural Wisconsin. Miles loved climbing aboard, hearing the train whistle and looking out at the cornfields through the large windows. It really was a gift for our little guy, but a great way to spend a day together as well.
Miles and Lydia's great grandmother flew into town for some birthday fun. A family dinner, poppyseed and red velvet cakes were all part of the celebration.

I've been wanting to take my kids on a train ride this year.. Landen is SO into trains and carries his little THomas around with him everywhere (ever since he laid eyes on Neville's he had to have one) They are also way into Polar Express and watch it year round, lol!! Looks like a lot of fun. Happy Birthday to David and Miles!
