Right now, I am thankful for...
1) this contented little babe and the way she smiles with her entire face - cheeks, mouth, eyes and all
2) my sweet guy who sent me a beautiful bouquet because he knew I had had a rough week
3) a week-long thaw that allowed us to get out for a few short walks with the kids (not so thankful for the snowstorm and freezing temperatures that quickly followed)
4) the way that these two are starting to interact more, the way that Miles is starting to take a keen interest in his little sister
5) the way that our little guy questions everything and is curious about all things (including finding out just how to write those letters and words that we see all the time in those books that we read together! And, mama, what does that exclamation point mean?!)
6) that hair!
7) handmade gifts crafted with love
and
8) the courage of a family friend, the support and love from his wife that makes his courage possible, and the fact that he is doing well...

Looking at these pictures makes me so happy. It also makes me sad... that we are so far away from you guys. You really need to move to Clovis...lol ;)
